    MiniMax M2.7 is the latest in the M2 series, focused on coding and agentic workflows. It replaced MiniMax M2.5 (launched in beta February 23, 2026).

    • Pros: Good for coding and agentic workflows. Self-hosted by Synthetic.
    • Cons: Newer model — less battle-tested than GLM-5 or Kimi K2.5.

    MiniMax M2.5 was cut once M2.7 launched. Synthetic typically retires older self-hosted models when newer versions are available, due to GPU capacity constraints.
